Jaret Ray, currently on his 3rd Top 40 Texas Country single, who is also the lead singer of the band Bowling For Soup, pays homage to the greats that came before him in his debut solo/Texas Country album and sincere love letter to Texas, "Just Woke Up"
The album features some special guests, most notably one of Jaret's favorite musicians and good friend Frank Turner who lends his vocals on "Drunk As It Takes." There's also a cameo by Uncle Kracker on the album opener "Way More Country," Descendents guitarist Stephen Egerton performs on "Natalie" and Cody Canada of The Departed appears on "You And Beer."
Since the kickoff of his solo career in 2021, Jaret has shared stages with artists such as: Bri Bagwell, Bart Crow, Corey Morrow, Cody Canada, Autumn Ragland, Kin Faux and many more.
